Tavleen Lall is an interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of painting, installation, and new media. Rooted in abstraction, her practice explores liminal spaces, spiritual intuition, and the metaphysical through form, light, shadow, and experiential spaces. Her recent material explorations is in glass forms and projection mapping creating an evolving engagement with perception, self-introspection, and the immaterial through medium.
Guided by spiritual philosophies and meditative inquiry, Lall’s work often navigates the transition from the known to the unknown—inviting viewers into spaces where silence, vibration, and inner vision become a shared experience. She uses materials such as plexiglass, pigment, and ambient sound to create immersive environments that evoke presence, contemplation, and sensory transformation.
Lall holds a BFA and MFA in Painting from the University of Delhi, India, and a Diploma in Advanced Multimedia. She is currently based in Toronto, where she is pursuing an Interdisciplinary Master's in Art, Media, and Design at OCAD University. Her current research integrates sound healing, spiritual metaphor, and expanded installation techniques—drawing on her lifelong interest in metaphysical experience and the role of the artist as a channel for light and guidance.
